How Do YOU Think I Should Solve My Problem?
A week or so ago, I spotted a tweet from a friend discussing a new book he had recently found that was free for a limited time for e-readers. While I had never heard of the author, the topic of the book seemed pretty straight forward and pretty interesting actually. In a nutshell, it was a look at how entrepreneurs, artists, musicians, and other creatively motivated souls often see their projects fizzle out because they simple don’t have the tenacity or passion to continue on. I feel this is a constant struggle for me personally, so I went ahead and downloaded the book. read more
My Fear of Change
I believe that one of the biggest issues with people throughout time is the underlying fear of change. After the last election when President Barack Obama focused his campaign on “Change” the idea of sedentary circumstances (and I don’t even know if that makes sense logically) has come to be a bad thing. We are all so ingrained in our daily lives, eating, sleeping, working day in and day out, that by adding elements of change or chance, we often are torn between what we know, versus what may come. This of course is called risk. read more
Google Latitude
It’s been a while since I’ve written a little blurb about something I’ve found to be interesting, stupid, or at least noteworthy. A post from one of my Facebook friends this morning reading, “Can someone else please download Google Latitude? I need more people to stalk.” prompted me to set aside this stalling as after a bit of research and tinkering, I have found this service to be just that… interesting, stupid, and noteworthy. read more
Introducing the Daily Point
In a concerted effort to change the look and feel of my blog, I felt it was important to add a new topic that makes me publish posts more often. Whether or not that theory works or not is up to my tenacity to actually log in and do the work. Looking at my history, I don’t really have a good track record… however, I’ve come across some pretty cool videos, music, infographics, etc. Also, I may use the space to rant about something on the news or something I’ve seen lately in the media. I enjoy a good rant or two.
Any ways, look for these guys to be about as long as this post. Short, and to the point.
